Moog Signs Lynden Air Cargo Hercules Fleet Upgrade Agreement

Contract Modernizes Fleet with Genesys Avionics Suite™

 

Mineral Wells, TX – Moog Inc. (MOG.A and MOG.B) announced that it has signed an agreement with Lynden Air Cargo to modernize its Lockheed Martin Model 382G Hercules fleet (L-382G) with the Genesys Avionics Suite™ to extend the operational life and improve mission effectiveness.

The modernization effort will address key areas of Lynden’s fleet operations such as:

  • Fleet Longevity
  • Fleet Uptime
  • Obsolescence & Maintenance Management
  • New Operational Capabilities
  • Continued Airworthiness

The upgrade program will apply to the civilian L-Series Hercules platforms and have applicability for the military C-130 platform. The first aircraft modernization is scheduled for completion in 2026.

Moog’s cutting-edge avionics solution is composed of Genesys IDU-680 EFIS smart displays, Genesys S-TEC IFR autopilot, Genesys GDR™ VHF NAV/COMM digital radios, and other equipment required to achieve STC certification.
