Genesys Aerosystems Delivers Over 1,000 S-TEC 3100 Autopilots
Mineral Wells, TX (December 2, 2021) – Genesys Aerosystems, a Moog company, announced today that it has delivered more than one-thousand S-TEC 3100 Autopilots since starting production in April 2018.
Genesys Aerosystems’ S-TEC autopilots are certified on multiple fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft makes and models for general aviation and special mission aircraft. Over 200 aircraft makes and models are now approved for installation of the S-TEC 3100 autopilot.

Available aircraft for installation include: Aviat A-1C Series , Beech 35 and 36 Series (Bonanzas), Beech 55, 56, 58, 95 Series (Barons), Beech 90, 100, 200 Series (King Airs), Beech 1900 Series, Cessna 177, 182, 210, 303, 310, 320, 340, 414, 421, 425 Series, De Havilland DHC-6 Series (Twin Otters), Pilatus PC-6 Series, Piper PA-24, 31, 32, 46, 60 Series, and Twin Commander 500, 560, 680, 681, 690, and 695 Series.
About the S-TEC 3100 Autopilot
The S-TEC 3100 is a 2-axis digital autopilot (3-axis available on some models) that brings enhanced features such as automatic trim, envelope protection and alerting, one button straight and level recovery, indicated airspeed hold and altitude preselect (requires baro input), just to name a few. The S-TEC 3100 comes standard with traditional autopilot modes like lateral (GPS, VOR, LOC, HDG, LPV, FMS) and vertical (GPS, LPV, GS, VS, ALT) navigation. With the mixed cockpit aftermarket, the S-TEC 3100 also supports many 3rd party EFIS displays as well as integrating its own internal ADHRS should an EFIS not be installed.
