Genesys Applies For STC To Install Its DFCS 2100 Autopilot on Cessna 414 And 421-Series Aircraft

MINERAL WELLS, TX – Genesys Aerosystems announced that it has applied for a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) to install its IntelliFlight 2100 Autopilot Digital Flight Control System (DFCS) on the Cessna 414 and 414A as well as the Cessna 421, 421A, 421B, and 421C aircraft.

Benefits of the IntelliFlight 2100 digital autopilot and flight management system include:

• Three-axis digital autopilot reduces pilot workload while flying in IMC
• Provides precision needed when flying an instrument approach down to minimums

Genesys expects the 2100 STC to be awarded by the FAA in early September. The system will have a list price of $39,995. It does require a dual ADAHRS interface, which can be dual EFIS installations or a single EFIS and standby ADAHRS or SAM MD302.
