Genesys Aerosystems Welcomes John Filmonchik as Director, Radio Business Development

Filmonchik brings over 30 years of experience to spearhead sales of Genesys’ new radio product line

Mineral Wells, TX (April 1, 2021) – Genesys Aerosystems, a Moog company, announced today the addition of John Filmonchik as Director, Radio Business Development. Filmonchik’s responsibility will be to drive sales of the new Genesys Digital Radio (GDR) family of remote-mount navigation and communication radios.

“The GDR product line is a large focus area for us, and we’re excited to have John’s expertise in guiding its growth.” Said Gordon Pratt, VP of Business Development. “John brings a wealth of radio knowledge to our team. He understands the industry landscape and customer needs very well.”

Filmonchik has accumulated over 30 years of radio experience in various roles with Motorola and Cobham Group Companies. More recently, he served as Product Line Manager at Cobham Aerospace Connectivity. There he was responsible for the radio product line portfolio, including communication, navigation, and tactical radios.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the Genesys team,” said Filmonchik. “The GDR is the perfect complement to the great products already offered by Genesys, and I am looking forward to growing the business even further.”

Flimonchik is a Quad-A (Army Aviation Association of America) and Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) member. When not focusing on the GDR's strategic plans, Flimonchik volunteers his time as a Youth Leadership Training Facilitator for a local Boy Scouts of America troop in the Washington, DC area and as a youth hockey coach.
