Chris Miller is the Director of Contracts for Genesys Aerosystems. He joined the company in October 2018. Chris has overall responsibility for all contracting activities including, contract drafting, negotiations, compliance, contract close-out, and management of customer and sub-contract agreements for the company’s portfolio of domestic and international business. In addition, he serves as the organization’s Empowered Official for purposes of export compliance.
Prior to joining Genesys Aerosystems, Chris worked for Bell Textron Inc. in Fort Worth, TX as the Contracts Manager for Foreign Military Sales, acting as the lead contracts focal for some of Bell’s largest contracts. Chris has also held various contracts related roles in both the Oil and Gas industry and the forged components industry. Prior to his role as a contracts professional, Chris was a design and software engineer for BAE Systems, as well as a design engineer on the International Space Station.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and received a Juris Doctor from The George Washington Law School. Chris is currently a licensed attorney for the State of Texas and member of the American Bar Association.
