GM of Genesys Aerosystems
In December of 2020, Bill’s role changed from Aircraft Group VP Engineering, Advanced Technology and New Business Ventures (Growth and Innovation) to integrate the acquisition of Genesys Aerosystems into the Moog family of businesses and to grow a Mission Systems Sector for AG. The near-term goal is to efficiently grow relationships across functions between the legacy Moog businesses and Genesys with a focus on planning for future integration activities that will be driven by Genesys Avionics business needs. Additionally, I am striving to grow the existing Avionics footprint at Genesys while working to develop joint pursuits with legacy Moog. Longer-term I am leading a joint team of Genesys and legacy Moog people to develop a joint strategy that will involve new products, new customers, and different business models than either business currently pursues by themselves with the intent to grow a vibrant Mission Systems Sector whose focus is intended to be mission centered equipment for aviation markets.
Before coming to Moog, I held a number of roles at Goodrich Aerospace (acquired by UTC in 2012) at the executive leadership level. I was allowed the opportunity to grow a Guidance, Navigation and Control business. Along the course of my career, I have been responsible for business development, engineering, bid and proposal, supplier development, manufacturing operations, general management, security, and facilities (including setting up green field sites) for my strategic business area. Prior to Goodrich, I worked for BAE Systems, Lockheed, Bell Textron and Boeing.
