As a Marketing Communications Manager at Genesys Aerosystems, you will be working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, managing the marketing, tradeshows, advertising, press relations and promotional activities of the organization.  This includes management of all collateral material and website presence. 

This position requires excellent organization and time management skills as well as, demonstrated interpersonal skills. You must be capable of meeting deadlines and be a team player who has the ability to work well and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. You must possess strong oral and written communication skills, as well as being detail oriented and able to solve problems and issues using established processes. To be successful, you will have the ability to manage multiple projects and work independently on several different tasks simultaneously, setting priorities while ensuring completion of tasks under minimal supervision and within set budgets.  The position reports to the Director, Sales and Marketing.

Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to generate leads for new and existing products
  • Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, press relations and promotional activities
  • Manage all social media activities including Facebook, Twitter and Linked-In
  • Manage website including web analytics and SEO
  • Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
  • Write press releases and liaise with media and advertising representatives to ensure maximum media coverage
  • Order booth space, services as needed to support trade show schedule (may have help)
  • Manage all aspect of trade show booth during tradeshow including set-up and tear down (may have help)
  • Develop and write copy for brochures to show overall cohesion with brand and other outward communications
  • Manage and track demonstration equipment and simulator inventory
  • Maintains industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; establishing networks

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field
  • 5-10 years of marketing and promotion experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in aviation industry or pilot’s license with understanding of aviation
  • Knowledge with online marketing and social media development strategies
  • Microsoft Office Application skills
  • Photoshop experience a plus
  • Proven ability of successfully managing multiple projects
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills

Travel requirements include:

  • Attending industry tradeshows
  • Approximately 15%
