ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Backup to the CFO.
  • Responsible for the monitoring, analyzing, and control of accounts.
  • Lead month end closing.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Facilitation of timely and accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Prepare monthly consolidation financial package in accordance with GAAP.
  • Ensure ERP controls/processes for consistent financial information including cost accounting, monthly closing, general accounting and asset control.
  • Responsible for analysis and interpretation of results, as well as implementing programs to make improvements.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models, as needed.
  • Maintain and reconcile the fixed assets inventory.
  • Track expenses and revenues vs budget, reforecast, and prior year and analyze fluctuations.
  • Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization.
  • Comply with regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
  • Support accounting and tax audits.


  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree from four-year college
  • 5 years progressive experience in manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Public audit
  • Other Certificate requirements
  • Certified Public Accountant preferred.
