When you tell people you’re going to Orlando, Florida to spend a week at the most “wondrous place on Earth,” they immediately think you’re going to the house of the mouse. Well, not this time.
This time I’m getting ready to head down to business aviation’s most magical place – NBAA 2016. I’ve been to all the aviation industry shows all over the world, and in my opinion the annual NBAA Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (BACE) is truly the biggest and best. Nowhere else in the world will you find so many of business aviation’s “power elite” gathered in one place. Whether you’re upgrading your aircraft or looking for a new maintenance shop, NBAA-BACE is truly were business gets done.
I know that this is Genesys Aerosystems’ “go-to” event with regards to our Part 25 products. In fact our newest and, soon-to-be certified S-TEC 5000 Digital Autopilot will be the star of this year’s NBAA booth.
Designed for high-performance jets and turboprops, the S-TEC 5000 is the first aftermarket digital autopilot specifically engineered to maximize the features and functions of today’s advanced EFIS displays. I won’t go deep into the details here, but I can tell you it’s worth a trip to NBAA Booth #1012 to see it for yourself. This is one cool autopilot.
Of course, we’ll also have our family of Genesys EFIS displays and full-line of autopilot upgrade solutions on display in the booth.
Because of the early deadline for my blog, I have not yet confirmed which of our OEM partners will have new Genesys Aerosystems IDU displays or autopilots on display in the Orange County Convention Center, but if you’ll stop by our booth (#1012) during NBAA, I’ll be happy to point you in their directions.
NBAA has always proven to be the most accurate barometer of the direction personal and business aviation is trending. Let’s hope that this year’s show in Orlando is as hot as the weather.
Until next time, fly safely,
